A Cleveland County Jury determined that a local Army veteran was "Not Guilty" of public intoxication while he was drinking at a neighbor's lot in rural Cleveland County. Attorney Aaron Stiles of the Stiles Legal Group argued the case. The police were in the area investigating another incident and ended up arresting the Army veteran. The police took no field sobriety test and no breathalyzer. The real issue was that the police officer was offended by something the veteran said and wanted to teach him a lesson. Mr. Stiles successfully proved to a jury that a person drinking at a neighbor's home is not violating the law.
Insurance Company Settles on Behalf of Unscrupulous Car Dealer A large national insurance company decided it was better to pay now for the fraudulent transactions made by their customer rather than pay latter. The car dealer was allowing local car owners to sell their cars on his lot by consignment. The dealer would then sell the car at a high amount and tell the owners the car sold for much less-and pocket the difference. The car owner attempted to handle the insurance company himself but they denied his claims. Attorney Aaron Stiles got involved in the case and the insurance company settled for the amount asked for. This case proves that people should never deal with insurance companies without an attorney.
